How do kindergartens operate in the summer?
At the federal level, there is no uniform standard for the operation of kindergartens in the summer - each region and even municipality decides this for itself. As a rule, they first collect information about how many places are needed in the gardens in the summer, and then make a decision.
Duty groups.
They are formed strictly according to the number of children who will go to kindergarten each month. This information is collected in April-May. The duty groups are teams, that is, the children may not know each other well and the guys will undergo a kind of adaptation. The teacher may also be a stranger, but that’s even better. Children who go to kindergarten in the summer get to know other teachers and then it is much easier for them to communicate with them during the school year.
The group’s working hours remain the same, from 7 to 19 or from 8 to 20. But the workload changes - they conduct fewer classes, walk more, etc.
On-duty kindergartens.
This option is also chosen in some regions - they close most of the gardens in the city, leave a few people on duty, but all groups work in them. Children's adaptation problems may even intensify: they find themselves in a group with children from other kindergartens and other teachers.
