Report “Formation of the foundations of safety in preschool children.”
The kindergarten has developed a thematic plan to develop the basics of life safety in preschoolers.
The section “Child and unknown adults on the street and in the house” includes the following topics:
About the discrepancy between good looks and good intentions.
Dangerous contact situations with strangers.
Situations of violent behavior on the part of an unfamiliar adult.
If a stranger comes into the house.
1
.About the discrepancy between good looks and good intentions. We talk about the dangers of contact with unfamiliar adults, given that children have already formed their own ideas about which adults can be dangerous. Thus, most children believe that people with an unpleasant appearance or unkempt clothes are dangerous. Some children think that it is primarily men who are dangerous (“uncle with a beard, dirty”), and that young, well-dressed, pretty women, girls or boys cannot cause harm, just like any person with an open, friendly smile . Therefore, it is advisable to have a conversation with children about the frequent discrepancy between good appearance and good intentions. For senior preschool age, it is advisable to use examples from fairy tales and literary works familiar to them (for example, Cinderella was dressed in rags, stained with soot, but was kind; the Beast in “The Scarlet Flower” turned out to be a kind enchanted prince).
2
. Dangerous contact situations with strangers. It is necessary to specifically consider typical situations of dangerous contacts with strangers.
Examples:
An adult persuades a child to go somewhere with him, promising to give him a toy, candy or show him something interesting, introducing himself as an acquaintance of the parents or informing him that he is acting at their request.
An adult opens the car door and invites the child to go for a ride.
An adult treats the child with candy, ice cream or gives a toy.
To reinforce the rules of behavior with strangers, you can offer children specially prepared games - dramatizations, while to prevent neurotic reactions and the emergence of fears, images of fairy-tale characters or fairy tales about animals with a happy ending should be used.
3
. Situations of violent behavior on the part of an unfamiliar adult. It is necessary to consider and discuss possible situations of violent behavior of an adult (grabs the hand, picks them up, drags them into a car, pushes them into an entrance or some building) and explain to children how to behave in such situations. It is advisable to practice defensive behavior during special training. Children should know that when danger arises, they need to shout loudly, calling for help and attracting the attention of others: “Help, help, stranger!”
